a) About us
The R2COM Project (“we,” “us,” “our,” “R2COM Project”, “R2COM”) – “Radicalisation and Violent Extremism Prevention in the Community” – is a transnational project financed by Erasmus+ Programme, KA2-Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education.
The R2COM project’s main goal is to foster and enhance the involvement of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE), especially in the follow-up/aftercare provision of newly released individuals.
The initiative intends to improve the management of individuals prone to radicalisation by increasing the success of NGOs’ interventions. It will also promote cooperation and the establishment of dynamic synergies amongst NGOs in the EU and beyond.
R2COM is implemented by a consortium of partner organisations whose promoter is Innovative Prison Systems (IPS). This entity is a registered brand name of QUALIFY JUST – IT Solutions and Consulting Ltd, a company headquartered in Portugal. Find out more about our implementation partners.
IPS is a boutique research and consulting company in the field of criminal justice, namely prison and probation systems, juvenile justice, and law enforcement.
